This is a full-time on-site role for a DevOps Engineer at Pagoda Labs located in Kathmandu. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), continuous integration, system administration, software development, and Linux operations.

What you’ll do:

• Design, implement, and maintain the DevOps processes and infrastructure that support our cloud-based products and services
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and efficient software deployments
• Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure compliance and protect sensitive customer data
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve scalability
• Continuously monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configuration and operation procedures
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities as needed
• Collaborate with other teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps technologies and trends and share this knowledge with the team

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or related role
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services (preferably AWS)
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Elasticsearch
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with security protocols and compliance requirements
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
